Wild Violets

For the first time, wild violets have made their appearance in the churchyard.

But you'll need to be sharp-eyed to spot these exquisite pin points of blue nested in the grass.

These native blooms are rare to find, even in the wild, due to habitat loss.

But thanks to the diligent efforts of our volunteers, to clear the churchyard of invasive plant species, these diminutive beauties have been able to take root and begin to reclaim their rightful place.
